African Kaya Pizza Fest Port

I do not think I have ever in my life looked forward to a Monday like I have this one. I mean for once on a Monday I can go out and eat pizza leaving all my chills at home so that I feel no guilt for indulging on a Monday. Since last week, when some fellow bloggers and I were invited by Eat out for their media launch I have just been counting down the days to Monday.

The Media Lunch at Zen Garden was so much fun. Each one of us got to make their own pizza. We had almost 15 different combinations. What I absolutely loved was the pesto base for pizza, I mean who knew there was something other than a tomato or  white sauce base. That for me was the highlight of the afternoon. Here are a few pics of us having pizza fun.

Nairobi Pizza Festivals starts today (5th Oct) and runs all the way to Friday 9th October. You just can not miss it. There are over 25 establishments to choose from all over Nairobi. What I love most about the restaurant choices is that most aren’t fast food joints. What this means is you do not go out and get greasy pizza, you get real good pizza using real good ingredients in a really nice environment. Can it get any better than that?

Well it does, if you buy 1 Carlsberg beer you get another free, and OMG!! I just found this out today IF you have never used Uber cabs well this is the time for you to start using it. Uber Cabs are giving new user 2 FREE RIDES, yes 2 worth 1,000/= each  all you have to do is use the code “Pizzafest” when booking.
